Behavioural Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team at genU. As a Behavioural Support Practitioner, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualised behavioural support plans to increase a person's quality of life and reduce the occurrence and impact of behaviours of concern.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide specialist guidance and interventions aimed at improving behavioural outcomes.
- Implement person-centred approaches to service delivery and support others to understand and implement this approach.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and supportive team culture.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of practice or Diploma in a relevant field of practice with at least 3 years postgraduate experience working with people with disability and their supports.
- Current registration with a relevant professional body (if applicable).
- Successful accreditation as a Core practitioner in accordance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance.
- Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate.
- Current Working with Children Check.
