Empathetic Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team in Deebing Heights.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities, focusing on their personal care and day-to-day activities in their homes and out in the community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting individuals with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Providing positive behaviour support to clients and contributing to their overall well-being
- Completing accurate documentation through shift notes, incident reporting, and data collection
- Working collaboratively with the team leader to implement and review plans around daily service provision
- Maintaining professional relationships with clients and adhering to industry codes of conduct
- Being responsive, reliable, and accountable to clients and the team
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care or Higher (or the ability to acquire an appropriate qualification)
- Relevant experience in mental health and problem-solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
Benefits:
- Competitive pay rates up to $40.26/hour
