Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Public Relations Manager to craft compelling press materials, manage relationships with mass media, and assist in shaping AirHelp's narrative. The ideal candidate will have exceptional written communication skills, fluency in English, and proficiency in at least one additional language.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Media Relations
  • Write and edit press releases to effectively communicate key messages and announcements.
  • Identify and create stories and campaigns that highlight AirHelp's work and increase air passenger rights awareness.
Spokesperson Support
  • Prepare briefing materials for our spokespeople to ensure they are well-equipped for media interactions and public speaking opportunities.
Relationship Management
  • Assist in managing relationships with external PR agencies, coordinating activities, and providing direction as needed.
Administrative Tasks
  • Maintain media lists, track coverage, and manage PR-related documentation.
Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department, Data Team, and Legal Team to execute strategic communication initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Language Skills
  • Fluency in English with exceptional written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one additional language (preferably German, Spanish).
Experience
  • Experience working with a diverse range of media outlets and navigating complex media landscapes.
  • Ability to distill abstract concepts and data information into clear, concise, and engaging messages.
Education and Certifications
  • Experience working in PR, communications, or related fields, preferably across multiple European/American markets.
