About the Position


We have two contract Asset Engineer positions available in Southern Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing annual and long-term capital works, maintenance, and operational programs using available asset knowledge for buildings, public spaces, and infrastructure assets.



Duties and Responsibilities



  • Review and update Asset Management Plans for each asset class
  • Perform statistical and other analyses on asset condition, performance, and risk data
  • Coordinate the review and integration of infrastructure impacting strategies and plans
  • Responsible for performing condition and defects inspections for buildings and all infrastructure assets


Required Skills and Experience



  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management, or relevant qualifications
  • Previous experience in Local Government is highly desirable
  • Highly proficient in TechOne and Asset Management Systems
  • High level of attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills

About this Role


The Asset Engineer will be responsible for preparing and coordinating the development of asset management plans and strategies for buildings, public spaces, and infrastructure assets. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as experience with TechOne and Asset Management Systems.
