Accounting Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting manager to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality taxation and business advisory services to clients, with a focus on delivering personalized support and ensuring compliance.

This is a growth-focused position where you will have the opportunity to take real ownership of your role and career path. You will manage your own portfolio of business advisory and tax clients, preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT for a range of entities, while delivering strategic advice to help clients grow and succeed.

Your responsibilities will include mentoring junior staff, identifying value-add opportunities, and improving internal processes. You will also take over an existing book of clients and have the scope to expand it further.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years' experience in public practice accounting with strong tax and advisory expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Economics
  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills
  • Proficient in Xero, Microsoft Office, and relevant accounting software
  • Passion for business advisory, problem-solving, and helping clients succeed
