With this opportunity, you will have the chance to develop your expertise in electrical design, working closely with experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do.

Through on-the-job training and mentorship, you will gain hands-on experience in designing additions and alterations to our electricity distribution network, ensuring a safe and reliable supply of electricity to our customers.

Upon completion of our three-year program, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in a range of roles, including technical design officer, project manager, customer requests officer, maintenance officer, or technical drafting officer.

Our program offers a nationally recognised TAFE certification, providing you with a competitive edge in the job market.

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Units 1 & 2 pass in Maths Methods OR Physics (Year 11 equivalent)
  • Currently completing (or completed) a Diploma in an electrical field*

*If you are currently completing a pre-requisite subject, you are eligible to apply, as long as it will be successfully completed by the end of the academic year.
