Electrical Design Professional

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for major infrastructure projects, where you can develop and refine your skills, advancing your career.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will oversee design phases, resolve technical challenges, and deliver innovative solutions to complex issues. Your role includes refining design documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Work across low and high voltage distribution, switchboards, substations, buildings, transportation, lighting and power systems, communications, and distribution networks, collaborating with multiple teams to drive project success.

  • Developing, reviewing, and updating design documentation to reflect accurate and current information.
  • Developing shop drawing level documentation.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure project success.
  • Conducting site inspections and assessments to ensure design integrity and compliance.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

With a background in building services, you possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interface effectively with multiple teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, or PowerCAD
  • Knowledge of Australian industry standards and regulations, including AS3000
  • Experience in both design and delivery is highly advantageous
