Greenkeeper Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Greenkeeper to join our esteemed sports turf team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified individual to contribute to the maintenance and presentation of a prestigious stadium.

The stadium is a world-class venue, delivering close to 150 national and international events each year, including music festivals, sporting events, exhibitions, trade shows and a prominent annual ticketed event.

This role involves maintaining and preparing playing surfaces for various sporting events, as well as ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and preparation of playing surfaces for sporting events
  • Upkeep of the stadium grounds to ensure they are in optimal condition for various events

We are looking for someone with essential knowledge, skills & competencies:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or a relevant discipline
  • Hold a current driver's license
  • Previous exposure and/or experience in field maintenance
  • A sound understanding and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
  • Ability to take initiative and deal with challenges that may arise
  • Proven history of being punctual & reliable
  • Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
