General Practitioner Opportunity in Rural Victoria

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our client\u2019s mixed billing practice in Hamilton, VIC. This is a full-time position available for a VR GP or GP who needs level 3 supervision.
About the PracticeThe medical centre is a modern and well-established facility situated in a small rural town. Serving the community since 2016, it offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services to patients of all ages and conditions. With a dedicated team of GPs, nurses, and visiting allied health professionals, the practice delivers holistic healthcare, ensuring patients receive top-notch medical care.
Key Responsibilities- Providing high-quality medical care during scheduled appointments, focusing on thorough assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, preventive care, and minor surgical procedures.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team, including nurses and visiting allied health providers, to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Engaging in continuous professional development to stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
- Competitive percentage of billings with mixed billing options.
- Access to fully equipped consultation rooms and onsite facilities, including pathology, pharmacy, and allied health services.
- Supportive work environment with a full-time registered nurse available.

- Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a General Practitioner.
- Can offer level 3 supervision.
- At least three years of experience working as a General Practitioner.
- Ability to manage a diverse patient caseload and provide comprehensive medical care.
- Aged care specialty experience is desirable but not essential.
