Job Title: Seasonal Bakery Wrapper

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our bakery team as a Seasonal Bakery Wrapper at Costco Ipswich - Brisbane. This is a temporary seasonal position available from November through to end of February, with varying hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional member service, ensuring a prompt and courteous experience for all customers.
  • Maintain current product knowledge of bakery items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
  • Operate bakery equipment, including ovens, racks, and wrapping machines, to produce high-quality baked goods.
  • Package and wrap baked goods by hand or using a wrapping machine, adhering to merchandise manual guidelines.
  • Stock and rotate products, maintaining a visually appealing display and ensuring date rotation.
  • Assist with other bakery duties as needed, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and completing tasks related to Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and Safety training.
  • Participate in monthly inventory and assist with front-end duties as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Heavy lifting is required for this role, so a strong physical ability is essential.
  • Must be available to work a rotating roster, including AM, PM, and weekends.
