Bakery Team Member

At Costco Wholesale, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Team Member to join our team. As a Bakery Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our members.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to members, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and friendly manner.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of bakery items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and nutritional information.
- Product Handling: Move product-filled oven racks, un-tray product from baking pans, and package and wrap baked goods according to merchandise manual.
- Inventory Management: Assist with monthly inventory and maintain accurate records of product quantities and expiration dates.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Follow Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position.
- Front End Duties: Assist with front-end duties as necessary, including answering member inquiries and resolving issues.
- Department Support: Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary, providing support and assistance to team members.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required in this role. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy. Must be able to work a rotating schedule, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
