About the Role

We are seeking a Casual Agency Attendant to join our team at Racing and Wagering Western Australia. As a Casual Agency Attendant, you will be responsible for contributing to the daily operations of our TAB retail sales outlets located South of the river.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate betting terminals as needed to provide excellent customer service
  • Ensure thorough and up-to-date race day information is available to customers
  • Maintain the cleanliness of terminals to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
  • Report equipment failures to relevant parties to minimize downtime
  • Operate security and generator equipment as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the agency
  • Follow defined procedures for TAB agency operations to ensure compliance and efficiency
  • Open and close the agency on days rostered for duty to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Uphold security measures as per RWWA procedures to protect customers and staff
  • Assist in the assessment of potential Agents to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Attend Head Office meetings as required to stay informed and up-to-date on agency operations
  • Report on cash deficiencies or surpluses to Manager Retail Development to ensure accurate financial records
Requirements
  • Experience in delivering high-level standards in a front counter customer service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Cash handling skills to manage transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Knowledge of RWWA/TAB products and services to provide expert advice and guidance
  • Basic computer literacy skills to navigate Microsoft Office and Windows environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with or without supervision, to achieve common goals
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $31-$36 per hour, inclusive of 25% casual loading. As a Casual Agency Attendant, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our TAB retail sales outlets.
