Hydrocarbon Sustainability Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Hydrocarbon Accounting and Sustainability efforts. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental sustainability and emissions reduction strategies within our Integrated Gas business unit.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement environmental sustainability and emissions reduction strategies
- Lead efforts to measure and monitor IG's environmental footprint and ensure regulatory and voluntary reporting compliance
- Deliver accurate, timely, and transparent production, commercial, and emissions data to meet regulatory, joint venture partner, and reporting obligations
- Drive initiatives that support Origin's climate and emissions reduction targets
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary level education in an Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Commercial field
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team to achieve whole of business outcomes
- High level of interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external parties as required
- Excellent skills in multi-tasking, prioritisation, and time management with the ability to manage numerous tasks at any one time in a demanding environment
- Significant experience in program management
- Strategic thinker with knowledge of national and global trends in carbon and emission management and best practices
- Experience in upstream gas and/or LNG production
- A commitment to strong governance and compliance
