Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Lifting/Rigging Operations Manager to join our NSW Operations team on a permanent basis. This position is local only, working across multiple sites in the Hunter Valley. Relocation assistance will be considered.
Role OverviewIn this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative health, safety, and environmental requirements. You will also be responsible for meeting the quality, production, and environmental requirements of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the activities of work crews, including scaffolding, rigging, cranes, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement effective planning, scheduling, and management of personnel, resources, and equipment to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a rigging and lifting supervisor with a heavy industrial background.
- Proven ability to manage multidiscipline work crews and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent working knowledge of workplace health and safety and quality management systems.
- Experience in effective planning, scheduling, and management of personnel, resources, and equipment to meet project requirements.
- Sound proficiency in the use of MS Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Open Driver's License.
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
