At Tennis NSW, we are dedicated to growing the game of tennis and providing opportunities for students across New South Wales. To support our vision, we are seeking a School Development Coordinator to play a key role in increasing participation and promoting tennis programs within schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with school sport association staff and teachers to increase the number of school tennis competitions and programs
  • Coordinating Interschool Coloured Ball Competitions and working closely with local tennis venues and school sport association representatives
  • Developing connections between school tennis programs and local tennis clubs through Tennis Hot Shots initiatives
  • Driving the promotion of the Teacher Ambassador program by offering free lesson plan resources and online learning tools
  • Collaborating with the Tennis NSW field team to conduct audits and identify affiliated tennis clubs with low school engagement
  • Representing Tennis NSW at conferences and events such as ACHPER

Requirements:

  • Knowledge or experience of the NSW school sector and tennis industry
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills in both one-on-one & group settings
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks effectively
