Key Role: Environmental and Sustainability Leader

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead our team as a key figure in environmental and sustainability initiatives.

This position requires:

  • Proven experience and qualifications in environmental or aviation management highly desirable
  • The ability to work effectively in a complex policy environment, supervising and managing a professional work unit and providing expert advice
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities, developing solutions and articulating messages clearly and effectively
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas and influence key decision-makers through strategic engagement

To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in similar positions within government agencies. Strong relationships with critical stakeholders across the department and externally will also be essential.

You will be responsible for leading projects on environmental and land matters, including:

  • Preparing reports and briefs for senior executives and ministers on regulatory and policy issues related to environmental conditions
  • Managing land acquisitions and disposals processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Contract management and administration of agreements related to environmental projects
