Guest Service Agent Job Description

Ibis Budget Dandenong is a thriving and exciting environment where customer service is paramount. As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and a personalized experience for every guest, every interaction, every day.
  • Advocate for Accor's loyalty program to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, maintaining accurate accounts.
  • Take bookings, provide helpful information, and enter reservations efficiently.
  • Address guest queries and complaints in a timely and positive manner.
  • Liaise with internal departments to facilitate guest requests and advise on room moves.
  • Roster includes working various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.
  • Upsell our Food and Beverage department to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous hotel front office reception experience is preferable but not essential.
  • Professional telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • A friendly and positive attitude with a can-do approach, enjoying working in a team environment.
  • Previous experience with Opera is desirable but not essential.
