Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Contract Assurance Manager to lead and manage our Customer Services Division's contracts and supplier interactions, ensuring successful outcomes, compliance monitoring, and risk management.

This role will oversee contract and commercial planning to deliver value for money across the procurement of goods or services specific to our divisional requirements.

The successful candidate will be accountable for Divisional contracts and suppliers, including approved supplier registers, delivering contract outcomes, obligations management, and supplier performance enhancements.

In addition, they will develop and foster high-performing supplier engagements, exhibiting customer-focused behavior and positive, proactive behaviors.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and advise on contract and supplier risks and commercial issues, identifying solutions to improve contract and supplier performance.
  • Oversee commercial and procurement planning to ensure value for money is achieved for our divisional requirements.
  • Provide assurance over financial and non-financial risks for our division, assessing inherent risks and guiding the testing of design and operating effectiveness of controls.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, or related fields.
  • A comprehensive background in contract management with a strong sense of business ethics and probity.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and negotiating contracts to achieve efficiency and value for money outcomes.
  • Well-developed business/commercial acumen with a focus on customer service.
  • Evidence of capacity to effectively influence stakeholders to deliver value for money.

You will also have:

  • Qualifications in procurement, business, supply chain, commercial law, or related fields.
  • Work experience in a Utility or Government Sector.
  • Sustainable procurement acumen and delivery.
  • Line one risk experience.
