Workforce Development Professional

In this challenging role, you will contribute to promoting employee wellbeing strategies and supporting injured staff in their return to duties.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the balanced health and wellbeing of all employees
  • Assisting employees on their return to work journey
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve industrial matters
  • Developing effective communication channels with external partners
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Maintaining confidential employee records and preparing relevant reports
  • Providing administrative support for HR tasks including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and compliance tracking

About You:

  • Proven experience in employee wellbeing, engagement or similar HR roles
  • Demonstrated understanding of employee wellbeing frameworks, mental health, and workplace wellness
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, conflict management, and performance management
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to build relationships and trust across all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Experience in operations or an operational environment is highly valued
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
