Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Program Officer in our organization. This temporary assignment offers the opportunity for extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting local administration and delivery of maintenance contracts, preparing office estimates and developing Quarterly Programs of Works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage planned maintenance programs by analyzing Property Assessment Survey Data
- Provide contract administration through office estimate development, including on-site attendance
- Support contractor quotations and negotiations
- Ensure works are delivered as required
- Rectify work issues and develop action plans
- Develop scopes of work and collaborate with professionals like Occupational Therapists
- Ensure compliance with Australian Building Codes, company standards, best practices, and contract requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Project, program, administration, or business support experience
- Capital Works, construction administration, or government experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
Requirements
- Post-trade Certificate IV or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Contracts Administration experience
- Knowledge of Australian Building Codes
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Ability to commit to the duration of the assignment
- Full COVID vaccination or medical exemption
