We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Professional to assist in all areas related to the cryptocurrency accounting process, including domestic and international regions. This position will be responsible for booking monthly journal entries, preparing roll forwards, developing controls, and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of general ledger account reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of source data.
  • Entering data into NetSuite via journal entry or other transaction types as necessary.
  • Assisting the Controller and Assistant Controller in preparation of financial statements and other internal reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Analyzing and documenting revenue recognition of new business lines under ASC 606.
  • Collaborating with the international operations team to implement accounting and finance practices in new markets.
  • Coordinating with international CPAs to complete month-end close for foreign entities.
  • Acting as the main liaison between the company and external accounting firms throughout the audit cycle.
  • Obtaining and analyzing data from multiple sources to consolidate, develop into schedules that will be used as support documents for the month-end close process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain, be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, and have a working knowledge of Tableau and ERP Systems (NetSuite is ideal).

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of industry or public accounting experience.
Fundamental Skills:
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau and ERP Systems (NetSuite is ideal).
  • Fundamental understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain.
