Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Student to join our team at Icon Group. As a Pharmacy Student, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacy teams with various tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the sale of prescription medications while demonstrating a strong understanding of pharmacy practices
  • Dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist for hospital inpatients and outpatients
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels in the pharmacy and hospital
  • Assist the pharmacy teams with other ad-hoc pharmaceutical duties as needed
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled as a 1st or 2nd year university pharmacy student
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate and team-oriented attitude
  • Highly driven to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Ability to work autonomously and within diverse team structures
Preferred Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of dispensing experience in an Australian-based hospital or community pharmacy
  • Certificate in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent
