We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a rehabilitation consultant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals and organisations to help them achieve their full potential.

About the Role
  • Our ideal candidate will possess specialist knowledge and skills in occupational therapy, physiotherapy or AEP, and be able to utilise these skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations.
  • They will be responsible for evaluating the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness.
  • The successful candidate will also be required to help clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.
  • They will perform various assessments depending on their area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments.
  • Effective case management is essential in this role, with a focus on planning, coordinating and monitoring client progress toward their return to work goal.
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders will be crucial in facilitating the achievement of business objectives.

Requirements
  • Degree in occupational therapy, physiotherapy or AEP.
  • Professional registration and membership to relevant industry associations.
  • Experience in rehabilitation consulting, preferably in a workplace setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
