Conservation Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage our conservation efforts, focusing on proactive measures to protect our physical collection.

  • Provide expert guidance and advice on preventive conservation strategies.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that our collection is protected while remaining accessible and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive conservation strategy, aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of conservators, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of conservation projects.
  • Collections Management: Oversee the management of our physical collection, ensuring its preservation and protection for future generations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Conservation, Library Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in conservation, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
