Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Leader to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key leader, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to adults experiencing challenges.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a community mental health team and make a real difference in people's lives. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, families, and carers to provide assessment, treatment, and recovery-focused care.

As a Community Mental Health Leader, you will:

  • Deliver individualized care and support plans that meet the unique needs of each client
  • Provide therapy and psychoeducation to clients and their families
  • Coordinate with other services to ensure seamless discharge planning
  • Monitor mental health and medication effects, ensuring the highest level of care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work with current professional registration
  • Postgraduate qualification in mental health (or working towards)
  • Experience in community mental health or similar clinical settings
  • Strong skills in assessment, care planning, crisis intervention, and recovery-oriented practice
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
