Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned engineer to oversee the development and implementation of standards for our control systems. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and consistency across all data centers.

This role requires a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, particularly in mission-critical facilities like data centers, power generation, and oil/gas facilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with experience in project coordination and vendor management.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the control team to develop and implement new and existing standards.
  • Perform design and equipment submittal review for controls on new data centers in the region.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
  • Review and accept proposed changes to site-specific control infrastructure against AWS Data Center standards.
  • Provide feedback on control system upgrades and design solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for site/equipment failures.
  • Conduct site audits, producing reports outlining risks and recommended mitigations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or related field OR 10+ years related experience.
  • 5+ years of project coordination experience with multiple teams/vendors.
  • Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities.
