Senior Controls Engineer

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems for our global infrastructure. You will work closely with the control team to develop and implement new and existing standards, ensuring that our facilities operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new and existing standards for control systems, driving continuous improvement in our processes and outcomes.
  • Perform design and equipment submittal review for controls in new data centers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Review and identify risks within building management systems and electrical power monitoring systems, taking proactive steps to mitigate potential issues.
  • Review automation controls drawings and wiring diagrams, providing feedback to design teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Troubleshoot site/equipment failures related to control equipment, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and turnover for controls in new data center projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, HVAC, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination with multiple teams or vendors, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities, with a deep understanding of control systems and their applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, further enhancing your technical expertise and leadership abilities.
  • 7+ years of experience in project coordination with multiple teams or vendors, with a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with design, configuration, or servicing of various control systems, with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
