The Opportunity
We are excited to offer a 24-month traineeship for a Project Coordinator Trainee with a host company located in the Hunter Valley region. This traineeship will provide you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the workplace and develop your skills in project coordination.
Job Details
This traineeship will involve a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework, leading to the completion of a BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business (Administration). You will be responsible for liaising with clients and customers, monitoring and scheduling maintenance and checks of onsite equipment, maintaining spreadsheets and internal software programs, and managing supplies and ordering materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and customers to build relationships and provide excellent customer service
- Monitor and schedule maintenance and checks of onsite equipment and tools
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets and internal software programs
- Manage supplies and ordering materials, including creating purchase orders
- Complete job packages, inventory, and system tracking
- Handle phone inquiries and provide professional customer service
Requirements
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent
- Solid office experience and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an industrial setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to learn new software skills and adapt to changing situations
- Professional nature and ability to wear required PPE
- Great verbal communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
