Gym Instructor Role at a Fitness Centre

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Gym Instructor at a dynamic and growing fitness centre. As a Gym Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fitness classes and providing exceptional customer service to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement engaging fitness programs for diverse client groups, including beginners, athletes, older adults, and those with specific health goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment on the gym floor and ensure that equipment is in good working order.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a gym or fitness environment.
  • A strong understanding of current health and fitness procedures and practices.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • A Certificate IV in Fitness (Cert III desirable) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • A valid Working With Children Check and willingness to undergo a police check.
