Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of meals in accordance with mecwacare's high standards;
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, families, and visitors;
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene practices;
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team to ensure smooth kitchen operations;
  • Complete documentation accurately and efficiently, in accordance with mecwacare's policies and procedures;


Requirements

  • Certificate in Food Handling: HLTFS207C;
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen environment;
  • Age Care experience an advantage;
  • Ability to provide a high standard of customer service;
  • Understanding of and commitment to safe work and hygiene practices;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Ability to understand and complete documentation accurately;
  • Pro-active and dedicated approach to your role;
