Our team is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide hands-on mechanical service work to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete thorough field machine inspections
  • Provide technical assistance and perform mechanical service work in the field to our customers
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, product divisions, and sales personnel to ensure seamless communication
  • Analyze equipment and machine component failures and develop effective solutions
  • Evaluate drawings and schematics to guarantee correct processes are followed
  • Oversee and manage Field Service projects on customer sites
  • Escalate questions and analysis to Technical Support and Engineering teams
  • Contribute to quotation work by providing scope of work, initial planning, and costing information
  • Promote products and services to customers and build strong relationships
  • Prepare detailed post-site reports, timesheets, and expenses after site visits
Requirements:
  • A Mechanical trade qualification from college or technical school, OR relevant experience and/or training
  • Demonstrate understanding and compliance to safety regulations and standards
  • Be physically fit and able to pass a medical with no site restrictions to perform duties
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical schematics
  • Ability to travel within short notice for work assignments
  • Understanding operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to read and understand a variety of written instructions
  • Ability to complete basic engineering calculations such as algebra and geometry
  • Provide standard hand tools applicable to the task
  • Basic rigging and dogging understanding
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence (Word, Excel)
