About the RoleThis full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), utilizing advanced genomic technologies and developing a diverse skill set in an interdisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead an innovative project investigating the role of RNA processing in ALS pathology, employing cutting-edge techniques including single-cell sequencing, CRISPR editing technology, and differentiated induced pluripotent stem cells.
- Design experiments and collate and interpret results, generating publication-quality data and leading the development of high-impact peer-reviewed articles.
- Perform and analyze next-generation sequencing, including single-cell RNA-seq, and present research methods and results at national and international conferences.
- Secure funding through competitive fellowship and grant applications.
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual with strong wet-lab expertise and a keen interest in functional genomics and neurodegenerative diseases. The ideal candidate should be able to work both independently and collaboratively, with a track record in CRISPR technologies and previous experience analyzing genomics data.
