The Uniting Prep OSHC Centre is seeking a qualified Educator to join their team on a part-time permanent basis.

Job Description

This role involves providing quality education and care to children, facilitating their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework and develop positive relationships with children, families, and community members.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to program development that aligns with the National Quality Standards and EYLF
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and community members
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments that cater to children's interests and abilities
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate IV in Children Services (desirable)
  • Previous experience working at an OSHC Service
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and families
