**About the Opportunity

The Uniting Prep Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Educational Leader to join our team on a part-time permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality education and care to children aged 5-12, ensuring their learning outcomes are met in accordance with the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Develop and implement engaging play-based learning environments that cater to individual children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • Contribute to the development of programs that reflect the approved learning framework and meet the needs of the children and families we serve.
  • Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and community members, facilitating open communication and collaboration.
  • Document children's learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes, providing valuable insights for future program planning.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Children Services or higher qualification, preferably with experience working at an OSHC Service.
  • A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a real-world setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and community members.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in children's services and education.
