Campus Maintenance Worker

Upto 40 hours per week, immediate start. A dynamic individual is required to work on a UNISA campus, performing various tasks such as minor maintenance, cleaning up areas, setting up lecture theatres, and moving furniture or other maintenance duties as needed.

This role involves being on your feet for most of the day, approximately 15,000 steps, therefore requiring you to be fit and able to work in a physically demanding environment. The primary location will be the City West site, although there may be occasional requirements to work at other sites, including Mawson Lakes Campus or Vice Versa as needed.

To succeed in this position, applicants must have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A current driver's licence
  • Prior experience as a handyman (desirable)
  • A Covid vaccination
  • The ability to follow instructions
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safety procedures and working safely
