About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Hotel and WSCC. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing, promoting, and converting sales opportunities for our premium hotel and conference centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, including corporate, government, and association market segments.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
  • Work closely with the hotel's operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a hotel sales environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree or certificate in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Western Sydney's corporate, government, and association market segments.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work with clients to achieve outstanding results.
  • Ability to travel throughout Sydney to visit clients and attend industry events.
