Key Leadership Role for Risk Management

This is a pivotal leadership position across the organisation, responsible for driving risk strategy and ensuring systematic identification, assessment, and response to risk.

The ideal candidate will possess experience leading risk management and broader governance, risk, and compliance initiatives. They will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to communicate complex ideas effectively.

A strong senior relationship manager will also be required, able to build and maintain trusted partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders globally.

In this role, you will play a critical leadership and oversight function within our organisation, defining risk strategy and driving continual improvement by integrating risk into our DNA.

Closely working with the Board, Executive Leadership team, and across all levels of the organisation, you will lead risk workshops with the Board and make risk an integral part of our daily thinking.

You will be responsible for building enthusiasm and engagement around setting risk appetite, adopting best practices, and bringing risk to life in a meaningful way that adds value and insight.

This position will be based in Melbourne as part of a hybrid working environment.

  • Experience leading risk management and broader governance, risk, and compliance initiatives
  • Excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Strong senior relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain trusted partnerships
