The Role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team and support Australian SMEs in thriving. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Australian Accounting experience, with a qualification in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. They will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of Australian SMEs, being their point of contact for everything accounting-related, and ensuring smooth sailing of our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support a portfolio of Australian SMEs, being their point of contact for everything accounting-related;
  • Be the point of contact for anything accounting-related for your clients;
  • Control the work quality delivered by the bookkeeping team;
  • Communicate regularly with clients to ensure that all of their questions are addressed and that we have all the data we need to deliver our work;
  • Coordinate quarterly BAS submissions and other ad-hoc accounting-related duties;
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of Australian Accounting experience, communicating directly with clients;
  • Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent and either CA, CPA, or CIMA qualified, or be actively working towards these certifications;
  • EXPERT level in Excel, Xero, Dext, A2X...
  • HIGHLY attentive to detail;
