We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a banking consultant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the finance industry or seeking a good work-life balance.

As a banking consultant, you will be expertly skilled across our products and services to educate clients on features, benefits, setup, and ongoing use.

You will also be confident in managing and processing basic to complex lending transactions as well as mortgage lending.

This is a full-time role based on a 38-hour work week, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate may also be required to work across any branch in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with business development and management of complex loans.
  • Organize loan distribution and ensure accurate cheque issuance to relevant parties.
  • Assist with training and coaching of staff.
  • Own the retention program for the mortgage book for our members.

Selection Criteria:

  • Lending experience and sales skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sound mathematical skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of financial products and services (desired).
