At Coles Supermarkets, we're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our stores, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

About the Role

As a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working through a checklist of cleaning tasks to ensure our stores are clean and safe for customers.
  • Using various equipment and cleaning products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and buff floors throughout the store, team rooms, toilets, and offices.
  • Cleaning, dusting, wiping, and scrubbing shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens, and drains.
  • Collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark, regardless of the weather.

About You and Your Skills

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team setting.
  • Committed to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace.
  • Able to maintain a keen eye for detail and cleanliness.
  • Passionate about working safely and adhering to Coles' Safe Work practices.
  • Capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating a solid work ethic.
  • Physically active and fit, with the ability to lift up to 17kgs.
  • Available for a wide variety of shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days a week.
