Communications Officer Role

This role involves providing correspondence and communication support to program managers and teams across the region.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for researching information, preparing briefing notes, and responding to media inquiries related to the region.

Developing effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders is also an essential aspect of this position.

Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of information, project data, and correspondence according to departmental standards and records management procedures is crucial.

Promoting internal control processes and continuous improvements to support effective business planning and program delivery is also expected.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience dealing with difficult stakeholders and managing critical conversations.
  • Current driver's license and access to a vehicle for site visits and meetings.
  • Ability to undergo employment screening, including criminal history checks.
Benefits

The pay rate is $58.02 - $63.69 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience.

This is a 6-month full-time position based in Nerang, with potential for extension.
