Job Title: Surveillance Digital Technician

We are seeking a skilled Surveillance Digital Technician to join our team. As a key member of our security efforts, you will utilize the latest in surveillance and security technology to protect our assets and people.

About the Role:

  • You will optimize the use of current and emerging surveillance equipment to ensure that our systems operate at peak efficiency.

  • You will provide technical support and training to operational teams using any surveillance managed systems.

  • You will conduct preventative maintenance to CCTV cameras and system, including hardware replacement programs.

  • You will assist with system updates throughout projects to reflect the operational layout of the system.

  • You will maintain compliance with all regulatory and WHS requirements.

Requirements:

  • Certification in CCTV Installation or Security Equipment is highly regarded.

  • Extensive experience in Surveillance, IT operating systems, and/or CCTV installations, programming, maintenance & repairs.

  • Experience using AutoCad, IP Networking, Windows Administration (Active Directory), Electronic repairs and fault finding is highly regarded.

  • A strong understanding of relevant statutory regulations and reporting requirements.

  • The ability to ensure compliance with business and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • The current holding or ability to obtain a KE (Key Employee) license.

  • Availability to work a full-time Monday to Friday roster with flexibility to attend callouts as required.
