Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining generators, as well as supporting the Depot Manager and other staff with daily workshop and field service activities.
- Maintain strong communication links with internal and external clients to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Coordinate the timely arrival of delivery items at relevant sites or stores.
- Develop effective relationships with suppliers, customers, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders.
- Respond promptly and courteously to after-hours enquiries and resolve issues accordingly.
- Understand and effectively follow branch systems.
- Participate in the development and training of new policies and procedures.
- Follow and understand policies and procedures as required.
- Identify areas for improvement and raise them with management as appropriate.
- Repair and service generators on premises and client sites to meet standards.
- Complete modifications of generators to meet standards.
- Diagnose and resolve issues and problems with generators.
