Sports Turf Maintenance Specialist

As a Sports Turf Maintenance Apprentice, you will support our open spaces team and gain practical skills in turf maintenance to keep our sports fields well-presented.
You will have the opportunity to rotate in areas such as open spaces, turf/sportsfield maintenance and greenkeeping.
Job Description:Do you have a passion for working outdoors and maintaining sports turf surfaces?
As a member of our team, you will work together to ensure the presentation of our city is at its best.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Completion of Certificate III in Sports Turf Management Course at TAFE
- Practical knowledge and skills associated with the presentation of our city
- Temporary Full time position up to 4 years (or for the duration of the apprenticeship)
- 38 hours per week with access to a 9 Day-fortnight
- Salary ranges from $601.70 per week (for a 16-year-old) up to $827.40 per week (for someone aged 18 and over)
- On the job training
- Compulsory course costs are paid by Council
