Job Overview:

Senior Reservoir Engineer Leader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer to lead our reservoir and petroleum engineering function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coal seam gas (CSG) and proven leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive reservoir models and forecasts to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Conduct advanced pressure transient analysis (PTA) and other diagnostic studies to optimize well performance and improve production efficiency.
  • Lead performance monitoring, production surveillance, and data-driven insights to drive decision-making and achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical and commercial aspects of project development and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Possess over 10 years of direct reservoir engineering experience, primarily in CSG.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Showcase strong technical communication and presentation skills.
  • Hold professional accreditation as CPEng, RPEQ; QPRRE (desirable).

About the Role:

The Senior Reservoir Engineer will be responsible for leading the corporate reservoir and petroleum engineering function. This includes delivering reservoir engineering input for development planning, asset characterization, and performance analysis.
