Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Professional to join our team as a Senior Regulatory Officer. As a key member of our Compliance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance across early childhood education and care (ECEC) services.

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled regulatory professional to make a measurable difference in the lives of Queensland's children. You will work closely with your colleagues to resolve complex matters and drive continuous improvement in the sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Functions: Apply relevant ECEC legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines fairly and consistently when undertaking regulatory functions within the context of the Regulating for Quality Policy.
  • Relationships and Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with ECEC providers and services, government agencies, and other stakeholders to achieve regulatory objectives.
Requirements
  • Investigative and Decision-Making Experience: We are looking for a skilled regulatory professional with investigative and decision-making experience.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ECEC legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide quality advice and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
