About our Hospitality Cleaner Role

At Summergrove Estate Group, our focus is on the accommodation and events side of hospitality. We operate across 3 venues in the Tweed Shire.

**Job Description:**

We are looking for an experienced and motivated cleaner to join our team as a casual cleaner at award rates. This role involves working in a supportive and rewarding environment with shifts ranging across 7 days a week, including morning starts and no nights.

The ideal candidate will have excellent cleaning skills, be able to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation, and provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining all areas of the venues in a clean and hygienic state
  • Contributing to a positive guest experience by ensuring that all areas are presented in a manner that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Cleaning in line with all chemical and infection control requirements and accreditation standards
  • Labelling and storing items correctly
  • Reporting any maintenance issues for immediate attention

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organisation or commercial environment
  • A sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals, and safe work practices
  • An understanding of infection control procedures
  • The ability to thrive in a team environment and interact positively with guests and colleagues
