Job Description: Finance Business Partner

The Finance Business Partner plays a proactive role in supporting decision-making and driving business performance across our South Coast Radiology (SCR) senior leadership team. This position is responsible for providing targeted analysis and meaningful insights into business performance, leveraging expertise in radiology market drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Support: Identify areas of potential business risk, underperformance, or opportunity and work with other teams to proactively manage these.
  • Lead the development, review, and enhancement of business cases, including financial models.
  • Coach key stakeholders in financial knowledge and information systems use for revenue, cost, and budget/forecast outcomes.
  • Provide financial governance to the SCR business unit, ensuring proper treatment of operating and capital expenditure.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Prepare an annual budget in consultation with the General Manager (GM) and senior leadership team.
  • Co-facilitate the presentation of the annual budget for SCR to the IDX Executive team.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts with the GM and senior leadership team, including detailed variance analysis.
  • Develop financial models and analysis to understand key drivers and risks.
Financial Reporting:
  • Collaborate with the IDX Finance team to ensure accuracy and integrity of the business unit ledger.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports for the GM of SCR and senior leadership team, including detailed variance analysis vs budget, prior year, and forecast.
  • Manage key accounting risks where significant judgments or estimates are required.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual reporting requirements.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting with membership of a professional accounting body (CPA/CA).
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen or experience partnering with operational management teams.
  • A proven ability to deliver accurate financial reports in a time-pressured environment.
  • High-level computer literacy, advanced spreadsheet skills, and familiarity with commercial ERP functionality - Workday experience highly regarded.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing, planning, and executing transformative projects.
  • Adaptable communication style across diverse demographics.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills allowing influence and change.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and consistent focus on achieving results.
