About the Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of energy systems in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic engineering and analysis to define technical requirements for distributed energy resources (DER).
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that support a power system with high levels of DER.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to develop company positions on technical requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, recommendations, and presentations that effectively translate complex technical issues for executives, boards, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor junior staff, and support key initiatives under the Engineering Roadmap to 100% Renewables.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Technology, or Science/Maths (with a power system focus), or equivalent relevant discipline or work experience.
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary projects in distributed energy, driving successful outcomes.
  • Skilled in preparing, reviewing, and finalising high-quality technical documentation and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and summarise complex data and insights.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal) across diverse audiences and stakeholders.
