Job Overview:

Aston Advantage is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles, including trucks and industrial equipment.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is $60 per hour. In addition to the competitive hourly rate, the position also offers a 9-day fortnight with an RDO every 2nd Friday (26 RDOs per year). This means you'll have plenty of time to rest and recharge between shifts.

Job Description:

As a Heavy Vehicle Technician, you'll be working on a variety of projects, from routine maintenance to complex repairs. You'll be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, meeting safety guidelines and regulations. This role includes both workshop and field service for breakdowns, so you should be comfortable working in different environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong background in servicing and maintaining heavy vehicles, large plant equipment or trucks. A current HR Truck license is mandatory, and dual trade mechanics will thrive in this environment. Ability to assist auto electricians and fabricators as needed is also essential.
